NFL Pro Bowl Roster: Peyton Manning, Andrew Luck, Record Number Of Rookies At QB

The NFL Pro Bowl is today, and this year’s football all-star game features a surprise: former Indianapolis Colts and now Denver Broncos QB Peyton Manning and former Stanford Cardinal and current rookie Colts QB Andrew Luck both on the roster.

It’s the first time in NFL History two quarterbacks that played for the same team within one year were playing in the Pro Bowl the next year. But it’s not the first time a rookie QB has played in the Pro Bowl; Carolina Panthers QB Cam Newton played in the 2012 Pro Bowl Game, and star rookies Robert Griffin III and Russell Wilson of the Redskins and Seahawks are in the 2013 Pro Bowl, too.

In fact, with Luck, Griffin III and Russell Wilson that’s a record number of NFL rookie QBs in the Pro Bowl.
