President Obama came to Oakland yesterday, and for several events, from a fund-raiser at The Scotcish Rite Temple, to another in Piedmont at someone’s home, and then the large one at The Fox Theater at 8 PM. As I noted before, I was originally set to be in Georgia, but wasn’t, so a ticketless me elected to try and catch a video of the President’s car, “The Beast:” failed at that objective.
But one subject does not qualify for viral video heaven, so I went out and made some Touts of what I saw. But more notable are some interesting YouTube videos:
Before Obama talked, a sunny day of waiting to get into The Fox was helped by entertainment provided by a small number of protestors:
And this person actually got a video of his two limos driving through Montclair, but they don’t appear until the 4:50 mark in the clip.
In all, the President seemed to have a good time and raked in about $3 million for the campaign.
Stay tuned.
