At Publix Fayetteville GA: Grocery Store, there’s a small booth where the workers cook up the most delicious-looking meals. Wednesday of this week was no exception. The worker was making Potatoes With Garlic Gravy. She planned to add a Ribeye Steak to make an incredible meal.
The idea is to present what Publix is selling and how you can use it in a meal. Now, let me know when you see your favorite retail store doing this kind of marketing. Publix has the right idea but the wrong way of doing it.
The reason is the Publix social media policy is defensive and tells the worker it can’t be on smartphones or cameras. I could go on but Publix CEO should have the firm squarely in the 21st Century not the 20th Century.
