Alex Hribal Stabbing Suspect: Murrysville School Stabbing Rampage

alex h Alex Hribal, all of 16, is the stabbing suspect in the Franklin Regional High School stabbing rampage in Murrysville, Penn, that injured 24 people. For his actions, Hribal will be charged as an adult. He’s said, according to the Associated Press, to have been responsible for 4 counts of attempted homicide and 21 other counts in the knife rampage he exacted on his fellow students.

The description of the attack that happened in Murrysville, a Home Rule Municipality in Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, with a population of 18,872, was like something out of a horror movie:

Flailing away with two kitchen knives, a 16-year-old boy with a “blank expression” stabbed and slashed 21 students and a security guard in the crowded halls of his suburban Pittsburgh high school Wednesday before an assistant principal tackled him.

In all, Alex stabbed five people, and that includes one student who was punctured in the liver, and in such a way that it just missed his heart and aorta.

Alex Hribal, according to sources, was a quiet and pleasant kid who “kept to himself.” So the question becomes what made him snap.

On Twitter, the response was the same: few knew him:
