Roadwork to reduce Southwest Freeway mainlanes until 2020 Chron
Ongoing work on the West Loop/I-69 interchange could bring some delays to your commute next week. Beginning Monday at 5 a.m., the northbound mainlanes of the Southwest Freeway from Chimney Rock to Weslayan will be reduced from four lanes to three lanes, according to the Texas Department of Transportation. The closure is expected to last until early 2020.
