Deacon Jones “The Brady Bunch” Lesson: Football Players Sing, Too

Deacon Jones, the LA Rams and Washington Redskins famed NFL Hall Of Fame Defensive End who passed away on Monday at 74, was also known for his many television appearances.

As a special guest on The Brady Bunch in 1971, and for much more than one scene, Jones explained to the classmates of Peter Brady that it was OK to sing, and play football. In fact, Jones said he sings.
