SportStars and Athletes First, two leading NFL player agent companies, were numbers one and two in having their clients signed by NFL teams, with 39 players in total, according to the Sports Agent Blog’s Darren Heitner.
That list includes Athletes First clients Cordarrelle Patterson, WR, Tennessee, selected by the Minnesota Vikings in the 1st round, and Travis Frederick, C, Wisconsin taken by the Dallas Cowboys in the 1st round.
SportStars had no client taken in the 1st round.
The agent who’s player was the first to be taken was Joel Segal (Lagardère Unlimited) and his client was Eric Fisher, T, Central Michigan, who was taken by The Kansas City Chiefs.
