Oakland Raiders 2016 Run Defense Must Control Gaps

The Oakland Raiders must get what is a bad run defense gap control problem solved and before it serves to be the cause of losses for the 2016 NFL Season.

The issue is one of philosophy: rather than assign a player to each run gap, the Raiders allow flow to where the defenders think the ball is going to go. As in the case against the Tennessee Titans, the players get caught going one way as the runner (DeMarco Murray here) goes the other way.

Since this play was part of a game plan it means the Titans saw this defensive weakness and used this play to exploit it.
