Oakland Mayor Libby Schaaf Just Met With Oakland Raiders On NFL Stadium Plans
I happened to catch a group of people who left the Office of Oakland Mayor Libby Schaaf and that included Oakland District Seven City Council Member Larry Reid, Oakland Assistant City Administrator Claudia Cappio, and Oakland Raiders Stadium Point Man Larry McNeil.
The fact that McNeil was there signals that the Raiders are working at dual tracks. The City of Oakland and The Oakland Raiders are waiting for the latest financial numbers from Ronnie Lott’s group and are also updating their own fiscal estimates.
Mayor Schaaf says she is committed to a fiscally responsible plan that keeps the Raiders in Oakland.
