Meta World Peace, or Ron Artest, was placed in the NBA’s Amnesty program, and much to the dislike of Kobe Bryant.
On the day the Lakers added traveling center Chris Kamen, and to replace Dwight Howard, Meta World Peace’s high dollar contract was causing some pain. This move should solve it, in that it should cause Meta World Peace to agree to a cheaper contract.
The danger is Meta World Peace could go to another team.
