The Mega Millions Lottery is now up to $640 Million, making it even more the largest lottery winning amount in the World’s history. As I stated below, when it was at even $400 million, this blogger didn’t play the lottery.
My belief has been that anyone who wants to get that rich should be an entrepreneur, start their own business, and built it.
Then, the lottery his $500 million, and I realized that its true: everyone has their price, including me. That’s just too much money to pass up on.
So what would I do if I won?
I’d start a foundation to target money to startup companies established by those who lost their jobs in established industries, and another one just for those who are located in Oakland. I’d like to play a role in driving down Oakland’s unemployment rate.
