The person who killed 7-year-old Jorelys Rivera is still at large. According to CNN.com, Little Rivera was found in a trash bin in Canton, Georgia, 40 miles north of Atlanta. The overall CNN report reads like this:
A 7-year-old girl whose body was found in a trash bin outside her Georgia apartment building died of blunt force trauma to the head, was stabbed and had been sexually assaulted, authorities said Tuesday.
She was seen as recently as last Friday playing at a playground near the apartment complex she lived in, but then was gone, and it was believed she got lost. But the question is why let a 7-year-old out of your site if you have any real care in the World for them?
She was being supervised by a teenager (!), until she, strangely, went to get drinks for her friends at home.
The Georgia Bureau of Investigation believes the killer lived in the same apartment complex. The parents are not suspects at this time.
Parents, please watch your kids.
