NFL Combine, Indianapolis – Penn State’s record-setting running back Saquon Barkley comes out the first player selected yet again in my second 2018 NFL Mock Draft. Where the Tampa Bay Bucanneers picked Barkley in my first stab at what could happen, this time the Browns, which also have a need for a running back over a QB at number one, took Saquon.
That development was not the “driver” that caused dramatic change in the NFL Draft, and I’ve yet to find the player that is such that if he’s chosen at a certain place, it changes the complexion of the NFL Draft.
