Michelle Obama. The First Lady generated a lot of excitement over how she would look for the 57th Presidential Inauguration, and she did not disappoint those waiting for a look at her new bangs-based hairdo.

Lovely and regal in a navy blue Thom Brown coat and long dress, Mrs. Obama walked out to the Inauguration platform to cheers, oohs, and ahs – most of them generated by women, including those next to me at Red Ticket Section 16. As the video shows, all approved of her new look.

The next step will be to see how Michelle Obama’s new style becomes copied by her fans in America. If the reactions expressed at the Inauguration are any indication, the answer will be ‘pretty soon.’

Stay tuned.
