Now, Safe has a new poster that tells the story of the movie with one look.
Safe is produced by Lawrence Bender (Inglorious Bastards), with Boaz Yakin, (Remember the Titans) serving as its writer and director, and stars Jason Statham (The Mechanic, Crank 1 and Crank 2) as Jimmy, a former elite operative who must protect an adolescent girl played by Catherine Chan against not just the Russian Mafia but high – level corrupt New York City politicians and police officers.
Safe also stars Chris Sarandon, Robert John Burke, Reggie Lee, Danny Hoch, Danni Lang, and James Hong.
The action movie, another in what’s becoming a constant stream of them for Mr.Statham, costs $30 million to make and was filmed primarily in New York and Philadelphia between October and December 2010. Here’s a YouTube video from the set:
