Part One of the new season, which premiered in April, delivered record ratings for BBC America and marked the first time Doctor Who filmed on American soil. Its finale ended with the unveiling of a massive secret and the words “Let’s Kill Hitler” on screen. Bedlam: Exclusive U.S. Premiere Screening and Q&A

Friday, July 22, 5:15-6:15pm

ROOM 7 AB

Star Theo James (Underworld: New Dawn, Downton Abbey) and creator David Allison (Boy Meets Girl) host a premiere screening event followed by discussion and Q&A. Bedlam Heights, the stylish new apartment building, has sexy tenants and gorgeous decor. But little do the new residents suspect that behind the luxury fittings lay unimaginable horrors. This is a place tainted by abuse, suffering and death – and the ghosts of its dark and violent past are out for revenge. As the direct descendent of those who ran the asylum, Kate (Charlotte Salt, The Tudors) – who both lives and works there – is a prime target. She is surprised by the unexpected arrival of Jed (James) – her adopted cousin. Jed is unique. With a history of mental illness, he’s a troubled man who sees ghosts and visions of the past. Recent messages to ‘Save Kate,’ propel him back into Kate’s life. Can he really ‘Save Kate?’ And from whom, or what, does she need saving? Everybody has a dark side in this new series also starring Ashley Madekwe (Secret Diary of a Call Girl), Hugo Speer (Skins) and Will Young (Pop Idol winner, Skins). Bedlam premieres Saturday, October 8, 9:00pm ET/PT on BBC America’s Supernatural Saturdays. Twitter: @BBCAmerica/#Bedlam.

Bellflower, Set For August 5th Release

Bellflower stars Evan Glodell (Director – Star) with a cast consisting of Tyler Dawson, Jessie Wiseman , Rebekah Brandes , and Vince Grashaw. Here’s a trailer for Bellflower:

The distributor, Oscilloscope Laboratories, describes Bellflower in this way:

Best friends Woodrow (Writer – Director Evan Glodell) and Aiden (Tyler Dawson) spend all of their free time building MAD MAX-inspired flamethrowers and cars in preparation for a global apocalypse. But when Woodrow meets a charismatic young woman and falls hard in love, he and Aiden quickly integrate into a new group of friends, setting off on a journey of love and hate, betrayal, infidelity, and extreme violence more devastating and fiery than any of their apocalyptic fantasies.

BELLFLOWER premiered at the 2011 SUNDANCE FILM FESTIVAL, drawing particular accolades for its visceral imagery and daring storyline. A much celebrated debut, Glodell wrote, stars in, and directed the film. He also incorporated his engineering background and unique talents into the production – fashioning custom optics for the camera, hand-crafting a fully-functional flame-thrower and transforming Medusa from the guts of a 1972 Buick Skylark to the fire-breathing road warrior featured in the film.

The Comic Con panel for Bellflower will be held near the San Diego Convention Center, at a place to be determined as of this writing.
