Steve Harvey mistakenly crowns Miss Columbia Miss Universe, switches to Miss Philippines.
Miss Columbia Ariadna Gutierrez was named Miss Universe 2015 only to discover that the host Steve Harvey made a mistake and should have named Miss Philippines Pia Alonzo Wurzbach the winner. So he corrected his error and she was the winner.
I think Steve was nervous from the start when he said that people may be wondering why he is the host. Steve seemed to be apologizing for being a black show host, when that thought should not have been in his head at all.
He earned the place. Steve didn’t owe anyone an explanation and should not have let that idea come into his head, let alone out of his mouth.
