Oakland Coliseum City Update: City Had Financial Plan In 2011 – Video
The Oakland Coliseum City Update is that The City Of Oakland had a financial plan for the concept, including stadiums for Warriors, Athletics, and Raiders, as far back as 2011. That was the year the request for developer proposals was issued.
This came from a former high-ranking source who was with the City of Oakland. The source said that there has been so much leadership turnover in economic development that no one knows where full Coliseum City documents are.
Meanwhile New City Development LLC headed by Floyd Kephart has been forced to come up with its own financing plan for an Oakland Raiders stadium. One that has been panned by many.
This news comes on the eve of the NFL Special Owners Meeting to be held in Chicago, Tuesday.
