Oakland Raiders New Stadium Calls For Developer Who Can Buy Part Of Team
The Oakland Raiders want a deep pocketed developer who can contribute $400 million to the stadium construction effort, yet buy a portion of the team. That would call for $600 million to $800 million total investment by the developer group.
The problem is the Oakland Raiders don’t have deep pocketed owners and team itself is not maximizing its revenue generating ability. I estimate the Raiders are between $30 million and $150 million under what could be gained annually.
The Raiders and the City of Oakland and County of Alameda must cast a Worldwide net in the search for that person or persons.
Stay tuned.
