According to ESPN, The Oakland Raiders seek permission to interview Indianapolis Colts Offensive Coordinator and former Stanford Offensive Coordinator Pep Hamilton. This is huge because of all of the coaching candidates the Raiders will talk to, Pep is best qualified to coach Derek Carr and mold him into a star.

Just ask Andrew Luck. It was Luck who was instrumental in bringing Pep to the NFL and together they have built one of the league’s most consistently effective offenses. Luck is the touchdown pass leader.

But Hamilton has had experience in the NFL and as a QB coach with the Jets and Chicago Bears and San Francisco 49ers.

He will bring the modern version of the Bill Walsh Offense to Oakland and make Carr a league leader and winner.

The Raiders should hire Pep before the 49ers get a clue and grab him.
