Tracy Hamm was named San Francisco State Women’s Soccer Coach today. The University of California at Berkeley Soccer Legend was Santa Rosa Junior College Head Coach and led her team to the 2012 Big 8 Championship, becoming 2012 Big 8 Coach of The Year in the process.

San Francisco State Director of Athletics Charles Guthrie said “We are thrilled to have Tracy on board to lead our women’s soccer program,” said Guthrie. “This was an extensive national search in which we ultimately found the right person for the job. Her background at the highest levels of soccer as a student athlete, professional athlete and coach were ultimately the perfect fit for us here at SF State.”

Tracy Hamm was named SRJC head coach in 2012 and not only led the Bear Cubs to the 2012 Big 8 Conference title, but set school records in both goals against and shutouts with an overall record of 15-4-2.
