Brenda Roberts is running for Oakland Auditor, and I was blessed to be able to talk with her at Farley’s Cafe in Oakland. I came in to our meeting with some preconceived notions about her run, and her time in Oakland. She’s been here not five years, but 25 years, where she has raised three girls.
