Gracie Gold and Ashley Wagner are the USA Olympics Figure Skaters who have taken America (and the World outside Russia) by storm. So much so, that this blogger had to ask how they would look in Glo-Blades!

What are Glo-Blades?

Glo-Blades are an amazing invention and skating product by Ralph Haney and his son Steven Haney. The way it works is Glo-Blades are an ice skaing and roller skating skating accessory that allows you to attach touch-controllable LED lights to your skates, and “skate on light”.

The idea for Glo-Blades came to Ralph Haney while skating with his family at Snoopy’s Home Ice Arena in Santa Rosa, California. Three years of research and development later, the Haney’s have taken to Kickstarter to raise funds for the production of the skates. But along the way, they’ve gained fans in some of America’s most famous skaters, like USA Championship Medalists Kim Navarro and Brent Bommmentre, who star in the famous Glo-Blades intro video you can watch with a click here.

Tai Babilonia, the American former pair skater and Olympics champion, loves Glo-Blades, saying “Glo Blades’ possibilities are endless!” Randy Gardner, her partner for so many years, said that Glo-Blades are “a real blast.” Ryan Bradley, the legendary figure skating champion from Missouri, said that Glo-Blades has “so many cool opportunities.” P.J. Kwong, the 25-year figure skating announcer also thrilled with what Glo-Blades allows. But Polina Edmunds, the 15-year-old skating champion from the San Francisco Bay Area who’s at The Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia, loves Glo-Blades, saying she’s “so excited for the new product.”

So with that, it’s hard not to see Gracie Gold and Ashley Wagner in Glo-Blades.
