AMC’s Comic Book Men
AMC’s Comic Book Men, a reality TV show series that was the logical outgrowth of Kevin Smith’s love affair with San Diego Comic Con (here he is introducing William Shatner in 2011), is back for its third season on the cable network. The first show, called “Incredible Bulk” airs midnight, October 13th, and stars Lou Ferrigno.

If you don’t know who Lou Ferrigno is, you’ve never heard of The Incredible Hulk, the MARVEL Entertainment character created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby in 1962, and who has morphed into a pop culture icon. Ferrigno played the Id of Dr. Bruce Banner in the popular TV series of the same name from 1977 to 1982.

Now, Ferrigno is working to try and grab some of the bright light that has shown on The Hulk in the age of comic-books-to-film, appearing at WonderCon and Comic Con annually, and even events like The Night Of 100 Stars Oscar Party.

Lou’s a nice man, so it’s great to see Kevin Smith and the gang at Comic Book Men give him a day in the sun, once again.

Tune in to AMC’s Comic Book Men for Season 3, October 13th, midnight!

Stay tuned.
