Bryan Parker’s campaign for Mayor Of Oakland is off to a rousing start. Already, the effort called “Movement 50” has gained $52,000 in campaign donations, and Mr. Parker’s Saturday fund-raiser drew a great mix of Oaklanders young and up, and involved.

In the audience was San Francisco Chronicle Columnist Chip Johnson, long-time Oakland politico Carl Hackney, and California Commercial Investments Managing Partner Phil Tagami,and small business investor Lloyd Lawrence, to name some of the people who came to the event at 100 Grand Avenue.
