The pioneer YouTube Partner Channel has over 2,400 videos, covered seven NFL Drafts, Oscars Red Carpet, produced news commentary video-blogs, like this one:

zennie62logo1.jpgZennie62, a YouTube video channel established April of 2006, has passed 47 million total video views. “It’s a milestone on the way to 50 million,” Zennie Abraham, it’s Executive Producer, says,”and I’ll celebrate it, and others, on the way to that mark.”

Zennie Abraham started Zennie62 as a second YouTube channel, but when he elected to make “Zennie62” his overall blog brand name in early 2007, and because the original blog name “Zennie’s Zeitgeist” was too hard for some to spell,” he started using that YouTube channel. In 2008, Zennie62 was made a YouTube Partner Channel, and became part of the first generation of such YouTube channels that ran ads and shared revenue with YouTube / Google.

Zennie62’s original focus was the NFL and political commentary, but in 2009, the channel branched out into pop culture, and became squarely focused on being a daily news commentary site. “The idea is to have something to say about the events of the day in an interesting and multimedia way,” he said. So, we may comment on something, but that video will also be accompanied by a blog post, and also a link to and from social networks, like Twitter and Facebook.

The Future Of Zennie62

What’s the future of the Zennie62 YouTube Channel? “I’m working to sign up more video bloggers, so that we have a full network of commentators that are on the channel. There’s one way of building a video blog that calls for different channels to form a network – I am considering exploring the creation of the Zennie62 Network. But if we do that, each channel will be connected to its own blog. I’m also considering a kind of live show, and some way of better integrating that into our event coverage.”

The future of Zennie62 is bright, considering this news. Abraham says to keep watching. Also, if you want to be a vlogger, or a sponsor, contact Zennie Abraham at [email protected]
