Hope Solo, the top women’s soccer goalkeeper in the World, player with the Seattle Reign FC, Olympic Goal Medal winner, and with the U.S. Women’s National Team, was arrested this morning, for alleged domestic violence, and in Kirkland, Washington.

UPDATE:

Hope Solo was said have been intoxicated and to have hit, or “attacked” her half-sister Terry Solo, and Terry’s son, Hope’s half-nephew. Lt. Mike Murray said that they responded to reports of a female who would not stop “hitting people.” When they arrived, reports say Kirkland Police Department police found Solo “intoxicated and upset.”

Kirkland Police said in a statement that half-sister Terry Solo, and Terry’s son, Hope’s half-nephew, had visible injuries. After interviewing witnesses, police determined that Solo was the “primary aggressor and had instigated the assault,” the statement said.

She was taken to King County Jail and is being held without bail. Really sad.
