J J Abrams To Direct Star Wars VII? Who’d He Sleep With?

Abrams, the creator of Lost and Cloverfield, and the director of the last two new Star Trek movies, including the upcoming Star Trek: Into Darkness, has been selected to direct Star Wars VII. Wow. He’s bringing together two separate major Sci Fi universes, so I have to ask, who the hell did he sleep with or pay off to get that gig? We know how Hollywood works: the only way J.J. Abrams got the right to direct Star Wars VII was by being aggressive. So now, what? Will William Shatner get a role in the movie? Whatever the case, he’d better not screw it up, or a lot of people will roll his head down Sunset Blvd.!
