Danica Patrick is officially divorced.
Whatever lead to Danica’s walking into The Superior Court Of Arizona’s Maricopa County Courthouse and filing her own divorce, without an attorney, she did it on New Year’s Eve.
The official stamp on the document and her signature has a date write in area that reads December 31st, 2012: the last day of 2012. The divorce document, considered a lawsuit against her husband, Paul Hospenthal, was filed after the new year, on January 3rd, 2013.
While the official reason for Danica Patrick’s divorce was “My marriage is irretrievably broken and there is no reasonable prospect of reconciliation,” the document she filed also reveals that there was no domestic violence that occurred, and that she’s not pregnant.
The document Danica Patrick filed also reads that the couple did accumulate “community property” and will determine how to divide it.
No Facebook Posting; Anthony Zotaro Has Girlfriend
Unlike the fiasco of two months ago, when Ms. Patrick took to Facebook to announce her intent to divorce from Ms. Hospenthal, this time, Danica kept her divorce actions out of the social media eye. Well, until now.
The news has generated a reaction, just not added to by her own hands. And because of that, and her posting of a photo of her hugging a 4-year-old, the overall news on the divorce was muted.
The story on the hug is really cute. Anthony Zotaro has attended five or six races and he’s not even five years old. He was with his grandfather Tim Spry when he saw her and let out a yell “Danica!” The little boy blew her a kiss, and the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series rookie rewarded him with a hug.
Afterwards, the boy said “I feel like I want her to be my girlfriend.” Well, from the looks of things, his timing might be perfect.
Stay tuned.
