That’s where this handy set of rules issued by The Georgia Democratic Party is useful. Here’s what you can do if you live in the State of Georgia:
Voters in elections are required to show one of the following six forms of photo ID when voting:
· A Georgia driver’s license, even if expired.
· Any valid photo ID issued by the state or federal government, including a free Voter ID Card issued by your county registrar or Georgia Department of Driver Services (DDS)
· Valid U.S. passport
· Valid employee photo ID from any branch, department, agency, or entity of the U.S. Government, the State of Georgia, or any county, municipality, board, authority, or other entity of this state.
· Valid U.S. military photo ID
· Valid tribal photo ID
If you find yourself without an ID, ask for a provisional ballot and cast your vote. You have 3 days to bring the appropriate ID or documents for your vote to count after the election. I strongly urge you to bring family, friends, associates and co-workers with you if they have not voted! Our numbers are stronger when united.
If you think errors are on your ballot or have concerns with your rights being violated, contact our Voter Protection Hotline immediately at 678-792-3664 and an experienced attorney will begin working on your complaint immediately.
And if you don’t know where your poling place is, just click here to find it, again, in Georgia.
And finally, if you want to know who the Democrats you should vote for are both in Georgia and around America, then visit this site now: http://slatecard.democrats.org.
