SF Police Seek Buswrecker Man Who Attacked Muni Bus After World Series

The San Francisco Police and a ton of angry SF Giants fans are in search of the man who took one of those street line makers (the steel kind you can lift with one hand) and used it to try and batter the front windows of an 8X-Bayshore Express SF MUNI bus that was stopped at Third and Market Street at Kearny because of a large World Series celebration crowd.

The bus was eventually set on fire, causing $1 million worth of damage.

The man is the focus of a constant Facebook sharing process, where a larger photo of him in the act of vandalizing the bus has sparked outrage from other fans of the San Francisco Giants.

One thing they share with the SFPD is a desire to see the man go to the police and turn himself in.

Who Is This Man?

The man in the photo looks familiar upon closer inspection, and in a “I’ve seen that guy” before way.

This blogger’s going to venture a hypothesis that the man is not a San Francisco resident, that he came over on BART, went to a bar, got drunk, and did this – then got back on BART and went home, somewhere along the Pittsburgh Bay Point line, and not in Oakland.

Thus, the SFPD call to apprehend this man should be region wide.

Stay tuned.
