On Saturday, this blogger participated in a fun event: the America Scores effort to break the Guinness Book Of World Records record for number of people to dribble soccer balls at once.
America Scores is a nationwide organization that was formed to, as its website explains, “partners with urban schools to provide a high quality, team-based program that integrates soccer, poetry and service-learning.”
About 800 parents, kids, and other folks came to Candlestick Park in San Francisco for some dribbling fun. In all, 11 cities participated, bringing the total to a new record of 2,149 people. Here’s the action in video chronological order, courtesy of Zennie62 on Tout:
