Beth Silverberg, my friend who runs The Sports Girls, has a new radio show: Sports Biz Today. Here’s the details from her press release:

Sports Business has become one of the most important parts of the sports world and veteran
radio sportsman Fred Wallin and his Co-Hosts, Beth Silverberg and JB Kaye, will discuss all
aspects of the biz, with guests from the field and the corporate offices while interacting with
callers coast to coast. Wallin says,” In the past few years our sports industry has grown and
grown and we want to make Sports Biz Today, the place where fans, and those in the business
can get together.”

Sports are big business, whether it’s the multi-million dollar contracts signed by players or the
marketing and advertising behind the teams. Fans will be talking to Fred Wallin about money,
events and people that make up the exciting world of sports. For great conversations, scores and
schedules tune into Sports Biz Today Monday through Friday starting August 6, 2012.

Beth Silverberg, “Beth the Sports Girl” is a long time football fan, and overall sports and health
enthusiast. Not only is Beth a published author but she has been in many commercials and
also was a guest actor on Miami Ink. She was a Marketing Director for Clear Channel Radio in
Tampa, Florida responsible for overall event sales, implementation, and venue selections for
eight radio stations. She has a Bachelor’s Degree from Michigan State University with a focus
on broadcasting, and has also worked as an animal health pharmaceutical rep for Fortune 500
Companies. Her passion for the sporting industry lead her to create the television series “The
Sports Girls” but also now Beth will be heard on “Sports Biz Today” every Tuesday and Friday
sharing the mic with national host, Fred Wallin.

JB Kaye, “JBK” is the radio alter ego of John I. Bolton, Esq. an attorney who has been practicing
law in the State of Connecticut since 1990, focused on labor & employment matters, planning &
zoning and government relations and more recently exclusively on matrimonial law. In 1997, he
was the Principal Founder of BridgeSport, LLC an entity dedicated to attracting major league and
other professional sports franchises to State of Connecticut. He developed analyses for facility
financing, potential revenue streams, pouring rights, naming rights issues and potential territorial
disputes related to TV contracts. For the last several years JB has been involved in several local
and national radio programs both behind and in front of the microphone. JB Kaye is a news
and sports junkie and now joins legendary radio voice Fred Wallin on “Sports Biz Today” every
Monday, Wednesday and Thursday providing his unorthodox and politically charged insight to the
various sports topics of the day.
