Lolo Jones Wins Olympics Team Spot For 2nd Time; Press Conference

Lori Lolo Jones is Olympics-bound! Des Moines Iowa’s Lolo Jones secured her second straight spot on the U.S. Olympics team, at Hayward Field in Eugene, Oregon Saturday, when she finished third in the women’s 100-meter hurdles final with a time of 12.86 seconds.

This time, Jones said she fought through the fear and doubt that surfaced after the 2008 Olympics mishap and surgery and two hamstring injuries last year, and “had my sports psychologist on speed dial one, my pastor on speed dial two and my mom on speed dial three. It was crazy.”
