LeBron James finally will get his ring! The Miami Heat defeated the Oklahoma City Thunder 121 to 106 Thursday night, blowning OKC out of American Airlines Arena, and possibly setting up what may be a long-standing NBA Finals rivalry if OKC can keep its core talent together after 2012.
The win also established LeBron James as a truly great player. He finished with a tripple-double: 26 points, 13 assists and 11 rebounds. But for me, the game where LeBron really arrived was Game Five against the Celtics, when he scored 45 points, and took over the game. I didn’t think Mr. James had that kind of killer playoff game in him, but he did.
After nine long years, LeBron James gets his ring, and its well deserved.
