George Zimmerman’s Bond Revolked For Shellie Zimmerman Error; Returned To Jail Today

George Zimmerman, accused of and charged with the murder of unarmed 17-year-old Trayvon Martin, is back in jail after the bond posted for his release was revoked. According to CNN television, Zimmerman met with sheriff’s deputies without incident, and 45-minutes before the 48-hour return-to-jail deadline was up.

The problem rests on claims that his wife Shellie Zimmerman misrepresented their income levels, causing the court to believe they were flat broke, when a special website setup for his legal defense funds raised an estimated $200,000. There was also concerns related to George Zimmerman’s passport, where prosecutors said he had two of them, and not just the one that was turned in to the court.

If you’re just getting into this case, here’s my video on George Zimmerman as he was brought to the police station under his own power. While the video shows no obvious injuries, photos released later provided details of red marks on his face and head, indicating minor injuries from a struggle.

Stay tuned.
