Rueben Randle A New York Giants Wide Receiver

LSU’s Rueben Randle didn’t know where he was going to land in the 2012 NFL Draft, and seemed almost resigned to waiting in the Green Room at Radio City Music Hall. Randle missed the 1st Round, then dropped to the 2nd Round, and then the 3rd Round, when lightening struck in the form of the New York Giants.

Making him the 63rd pick in the 2012 NFL Draft, Randle became perhaps the best possibility to effectively replace Plaxico Burress, who’s now with the New York Jets, but is best known for his catch to seal the Giants win against the New England Patriots in Super Bowl.

Randle is poised to be the next Plaxico Burress, without the guns, but with the skill to generate yards after the catch.

At the media interview, Randle said he was looking forward to playing in New York, and to moving to New York. Randle also sent a message to fellow teammate LSU Cornerback Morris Claiborne, saying he looked forward to playing against him.
