America’s Cup Hosts San Francisco Bars Viewing Parties For Naples Racing

Fans here in San Francisco, the home city of the 34th America’s Cup, will have the pleasure of attending organizer sponsored viewing parties on the final days of racing in Naples.

The race organizers are inviting avid sailing fans and newcomers alike to view nine teams from seven countries grind it out in the Gulf of Naples. Currently Emirates Team New Zealand has a five point lead on ORACLE Racing, Team USA, in this competition that pits the best sailors in the fastest boats against each other.

Bay Area fans are invited to come together to view the final races in the Naples Series. Both bars will feature drink specials for attendees as well as a raffle for America’s Cup gear.

These events are open to the public, and all are encouraged to attend. Attendees must be over 21 years of age to attend.

Participating Bars:

Friday 4/13, 5-7 p.m. – Wreck Room, 1390 California Street, San Francisco, CA 94109, $1 off all drinks

Saturday 4/14, 3:30-5:30 p.m. – The Republic, 3213 Scott Street, San Francisco, CA 94123, $4 selected craft beers on tap, $6 well cocktails

Sunday 4/15 4-6 p.m. – The Republic, 3213 Scott Street, San Francisco, CA 94123, $4 selected craft beers on tap, $6 well cocktails

The event is based on a first-come-first-serve basis and no RSVP is required.
