Trump Steel Tariffs: Oakland Raiders Guaranteed Maximum Price For Las Vegas Stadium Will Go Up

President Donald Trump just signed into law tariffs on imported steel. Given that some portion of the planned Oakland Raiders Las Vegas Stadium may have to use imported steel, the guaranteed maximum price (not yet released to the public) will have to be adjusted upward.

The question is how much? The word on the street is the tariff introduces price uncertainty into the picture and the overall verdict is that Infrastructure projects, like the Raiders NFL Stadium, will be more expensive to build. In the Raiders case, this impacts bond financing too. Stay tuned.
