WonderCon Today, Fringe Panel Sunday, Sound Of My Voice Saturday

Facebook

WonderCon bound is this blogger as this is written from the United Airlines Terminal at San Francisco International Airport. The good news is that Zennie62 is confirmed to cover the Fringe Panel this Sunday, where the panelists are Jeff Pinkner, J.H. Wyman, and series stars Joshua Jackson, John Noble, Blair Brown, and Seth Gabel.

Now for those of you who don’t know about Fringe, well, you should. It’s gripping television and is about a group of people who specialize in investigations of unusual activity – what the FBI calls its “Fringe Division.” The series centers around two Worlds, ours and a parallel universe. Over the series four year history, the story has been, more and more, about how those two Worlds relate – or don’t – and how that impacts the people who inhabit both Worlds.

Fringe’ evolution has went from being episodic to thematic. That is, unlike The X-Files, Fringe focuses on one central theme and group of people that are related because of the parallel universe. In X-Files there was no over-arching World that was connected to what an alien did in one episode.

Here’s the latest trailer for Fringe:

Sound Of My Voice Friday, Saturday and Sunday

The Sound Of My Voice (http://www.soundofmyvoicemovie.com/index2.html) is described as “an American psychological thriller directed by Zal Batmanglij.[1] The film was co-written by Zal Batmanglij and Brit Marling. It premiered at the 2011 Sundance Film Festival. It was also selected as part of the 2011 SXSW Film Festival. The film will be released by Fox Searchlight Pictures on April 27, 2012.”

All I know is it has a major presence at WonderCon and I’m excited to meet the cast and crew involved in making it.
