The Amazing Spider-Man Trailer Captures Twitter

The Amazing Spider-Man
When Sony’s Amy Pascal announced the decision to remake the Spider-Man movie series because the firm could not come to an agreement regarding its future with Tobe McGuire, and pointing to the idea that the movie needed to reach a teenage audience, I thought it was a big mistake. I mean, the first Spider-Man movie came out in 2004, and now we’ve got a new one just eight years later?

But looking at the just-released latest trailer for The Amazing Spider-Man starring Andrew Garfield from The Social Network makes me realize I may be wrong about Pascal’s judgement – its taking Twitter by storm and without a promoted term (unlike John Carter, which I think will flop).

My only reservation is that it’s a dark film; still Christopher Nolan has made a fortune off such a formula with the Dark Night and Inception, so what do I know?

The trailer shows a lot of the movie, and it’s getting a ton of positive buzz now, as was the Avengers Movie during the Super Bowl on Sunday. There’s your blockbuster lineup.

Here’s the trailer:

Stay tuned.
