Oakland Raiders Lott Group ENA NFL Update On February 15th Deadline Questions
Some of you had questions regarding what others called “The February 15th Deadline”. Well, the actual language does not have that. The ENA is one year long. Here is the part of the Lott Term Sheet that concerns the 15th of February.
If an Exclusive Negotiating Agreement (the “ENA”) is approved by the Oakland City Council and the Alameda County Board of Supervisors, the City, County, and the Lott Group will negotiate and enter into the ENA on mutually-agreeable terms within 60 days following the execution of this Term Sheet (the “ENA Negotiating Term”). The ENA Negotiating Term will be automatically extended if the Oakland City Council continues its meeting considering the ENA or otherwise delays taking action on the ENA or any other procedural requirement associated with the City’s approval of the ENA. The parties may also extend the ENA Negotiating Term by mutual agreement among the parties. The City and County will endeavor to calendar Oakland City Council and Board of Supervisors consideration of the ENA no later than February 15, 2017, but with a target for the end of January, 2017.
