Terrelle Pryor Traded To Seahawks By Oakland Raiders; Will Start In 2015

Terrelle Pryor, the quarterback from Ohio State, was treated terribly by the Dennis Allen-Coached version of The Oakland Raiders. Allen, the Raiders’ head coach, proved that he and his staff were not able to design an offense around Pryor that was more than a few read-option plays, and bootlegs, and failed to teach the passing game to him (but doing so with Matt McGloin), and now have admitted their collective coaching shortcomings by sending him to an organization that can get the most out of him, the Seattle Seahawks.

The Oakland Raiders have traded Terrelle Pryor to Seattle for the Silver and Black’s 2014 NFL Draft 7th round pick. This blogger’s prediction is that Mr. Pryor will start by the 2015 NFL Season.

That’s right: Terrelle Pryor will beat out Wilson for the Seahawks starting job. And the reason is simple: he’s a bigger, faster version of Wilson, but he just hasn’t had the luxury of being with a coaching staff that either had a system made for him (as the Seahawks do), or are willing to build an offense around him (as the Raiders did not do).

Upon receiving the news, Pryor took to Twitter to thank the Al Davis Family…

….and why not? It was Al Davis who drafted him in the NFL Supplemental Draft of 2011. This blogger predicted he would start by 2013, and that’s what happened.

More on this trade soon.

Good luck to Terrelle Pryor.

Stay tuned.
