As Hurricane Sandy made its way through New York City and Atlantic City, NJ, and the Eastern Seaboard, Twitter took note of the work of CNN’s long time correspondent, Ali Velchi. Ali stood in the rain and wind and withstood a video bomb where three dudes danced behind him in the flood, to bring up-to-the-minute reports on how Hurricane Sandy was impacting Atlantic City.
The weather was so bad, people felt sorry for Ali:
CNN, seriously. You have tortured Ali Velshi enough. Whatever he’s done, he will never do it again. Let him go inside.

But the truth is, Ali’s a trooper for CNN, who’s came through in thick and thin.
Hat’s off to Ali!
Stay tuned.
