Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney will be confronting President Barack Obama today, June 30, in Pennsylvania. CBS News reports:
“And before Romney holds a news conference at Allentown Metal Works in Pennsylvania this afternoon, he’ll be in Philadelphia for fundraising events — just hours before Mr. Obama attends his own Philadelphia fundraising events.”
Here is the video that Mitt Romney uploaded onto his Youtube account:
This stems from Obama’s 2009 visit to Allentown as the Washington Post reported:
“In 2009, Obama visited the Allentown Metal Works plant, touting it as a symbol of the nation’s manufacturing might — an employer that would benefit from his $787 billion stimulus bill. But by 2010, the plant had closed, laying off its workers and ending a century of manufacturing history in Allentown.”
It would be great to see the two debate one another head-to-head.
