East Oakland: Man shot in the leg during attempted robbery

OAKLAND — A man was shot in the leg outside his East Oakland home early Tuesday after telling some robbers he had no money, police said. The 43-year-old man was in stable condition at a hospital and will recover, police said. His name was not released.
