Prometheus is the epic movie produced by Ridley Scott and written by Jon Spaihts and Damon Lindelof, and released this Summer of 2012. The work, described as a prequel to the Alien series, also by Scott, featured an expedition to a far away star system, one green-lighted by and elder Sir Peter Weyland, Founder and President Of Weyland Industries, and with a small crew. What they find holds the key to the physics of our existence.

Prometheus stars Noomi Rapace, Michael Fassbender, Guy Pearce, Idris Elba, Logan Marshall-Green, and Charlize Theron.
