Angus T Jones “Filth” Comment Referring To Miley Cyrus?

Angus T Jones, the long-time star of Two And A Half Men, told fans they should not take in the “filth” he said was presented by his show, and should turn away from it. Mr. Jones did not say he was quitting the telecast, and he’s not said anything else since the video showing him with controversial pastor The question this blogger has it was he referring to what Miley Cyrus did on the show?

Angus T Jones, who plays Jake Harper – the son of Jon Cryer’s character Alan Harper – said “If you watch ‘Two and a Half Men’, please stop watching ‘Two and a Half Men.” I’m on ‘Two and a Half Men’ and I don’t want to be on it. If I am doing any harm, I don’t want to be here. I don’t want to be contributing to the enemy’s plan… You cannot be a true God-fearing person and be on a television show like that. I’m not okay with what I’m learning, what the Bible says and being on that television show.”

While Jones has since backtracked from that statement, the question is, did Miley Cyrus’ appearance as his love-interest push Jones over the top? It has been said that Angus, who started with the show when he was eight years old, has had problems with the in-your-face sexuality of the program as he’s entered his teenage years. Acting is a job, and in the case of the scene below, Jones’ orders were to plant a kiss on the hot Miley Cyrus:

It was just a few short weeks later than Jones went to the Forerunner Chronicles in Seale, Ala (not the Forerunner Christian Church in Fremont, CA, as reported by The Associated Press) and recorded the video you saw. The man he’s sitting with is Christopher Hudson and The Daily Mail reports him as the Seventh Day Adventist guiding Jones. Hudson’s under fire from Jones’ mother, who says that he’s exploiting the actor; Hudson denied that he was exploiting the actor.

One thing that’s clear from this is Chuck Lorre, the main producer and creator of the show, is going to have to determine how he wants to proceed. The early indications are that Jones’ is still a part of the cast.

What this blogger thinks Jones needs to do is get laid, find a real pastor who’s not wanting to be seen in public with him, and learn to bridge what he sees as a gap between sex and religion. It’s not there in reality, but he has to be made to see that. Otherwise, he’ll be messed up for the rest of his life.

Stay tuned.
