Bane Capital Ruby Page Askew Quits Oakland Mayor’s Race Bane Capital Ruby Page Askew is out of the Oakland Mayor’s Race as of April 24th.
The official Oakland City Clerk’s Office’s Election Candidate’s List has her name scratched out. The race is now down to 16 candidates, as Larry Lionel Young jumped in last week and again since 2010.
So we were at 17 for a time.
