This blogger is calling Out Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson To Tout.Com.
For millions of years, famed WWE star and actor Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has been on the featured page of the 15 second video messaging platform called Tout.com, or what I call a combination of YouTube and Twitter.
The Rock, thinks that his fame – with scenes like Vin Diesel wiping the floor with him in Fast Five – is the only reason he’s on the featured page of Tout.com.
Not true.
Today, and for much of the day, The Rock was cast out of Tout’s featured page by me! And I replaced him.
There are too many celebrities who get invited to be on platforms like Tout, or use devices like the Flip Video Camera, and then don’t “do” them or use them.
Meanwhile content for social networks like Twitter and YouTube are dominated by a “vocal minority” of contributors. In fact, that’s why YouTube has the YouTube Partners Program, to help content creators make a living from doing what they enjoy: making videos for their YouTube channels.
Meanwhile celebs like The Rock just get by using their name.
Enough!
Just as The Rock called out John Cena, I’m calling out The Rock. I’m giving The Rock a new chance to contribute to Tout.com.
Mr. Johnson, this is your wake up call. Tout on!
Follow me on Tout.com/zennie62 and Twitter.com/zennie62
Stay tuned. This is going to be fun!
